Departmental Prizes for BSc(Hons) and PhD Students

• Poster prizes are awarded to Honours and PhD students for the most outstanding posters presented by our students at Austin Health Medical Research Week.
• The BSc(Hons) student prize consists of a Certificate of Excellence and a $100 bursary.
• The PhD student prize consists of a Certificate of Excellence and a $250 bursary.

BSc(Hons) Summer Vacation Scholarships

• Summer vacation scholarships are awarded to outstanding science and biomedical science students at the end of third year, for a 6 week summer research placement in our department prior to the commencement of their Honours year.
• Scholarships, worth $2500, are awarded to up to four students per year, based on their third year BSc Faculty Score, which must be greater than 75.
